More Creepiness
Eastern State was just so amazing to wander through and shoot. Everywhere you looked was another play of light and texture that was just mind blowing. I could have spent several more hours there, and easily shot thousands of images. However, if you are not hauling a camera, or trying to absorb psychic energy, then I can imagine that a couple of hours is probably enough. Actually, if you are at all sensitive to psychic energy, then I imagine a couple of hours is more than enough.

I love these photos. In the second one, the walls look painted with watercolors. I also like how they just let the place be, crumbling wood bits and all, instead of cleaning it up and installing lighting.
It really is so incredible. I couldn’t believe it either. They have restored a few cells to their original condition for comparison, but only in one section. It was supposed to have been torn down and replaced with luxury apartments, but the surrounding neighborhood was crap, so it never happened. Lucky break for ghouls like me.
